Healthy Pazazz Crisp by Sammy Approves


4-5 large apples (peeled, cored, and thinly sliced)
1 tbs. pure maple syrup
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tbs. cornstarch

1 cup whole oats
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbs. coconut oil


Grease a medium-size casserole dish and preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl mix together apples, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and cornstarch until apples are evenly coated.

Spoon apple mixture in the bottom of your casserole dish.

In a medium bowl mix oats, brown sugar, chopped walnuts flour, cinnamon, and coconut oil.

Place oatmeal mixture evenly over apple mixture in the casserole dish.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.

Top with light whipped topping.
